Variations

New Mesh Designer: Orion

It took me a while to find the perfect outfit to wear with my new scarves from REDGRAVE. The new cardigans with tee from Orion definitely are it: I wear the t-shirt in size M one size smaller than the cardigan (size L) which makes the liquid mesh (= self-adjusting) scarf a perfect fit.

The new Killian Hair & Cap from { Quandary } complete today's look together with one of my favourite pants from +REDRUM+ and my trusted boots from Gabriel.

Join The Buddy Walk

The Buddy Walk was established in 1995 by the National Down Syndrome Society to promote acceptance and inclusion of people with Down syndrome. Read more at their website.

Buddy Walk is having an event inworld from March 17th till the end of the month featuring various designers and exclusive items! All proceeds from these exclusive items will be donated to the National Down Syndrome Society to further the efforts of the Buddy Walk. Quandary has created a texture changeable Flat Cap. The Flat Cap comes with six colour options and costs 200 L$.

Mesh Hunt Prize Of The Day

Another interesting hunt started on Feb. 25^th and runs till March 10^th : The Lavender Hill Hunt is the third hunt in a series based on a monochrome colour palette. This time round, the colour palette is tones of lavender. Click here for SLurls to the participating stores as well as for hints and pictures of the gifts.

The suit I'm wearing is the prize you can find @ EPICOSITY. Like every prize in this hunt it costs 5 L$ to honour the work of the creator.

Since this suit has a summertime appeal, I decided not to wear the shirt which comes with it or any shoes, but instead show you the new mesh feet released by ISPACHI today. They are very detailed and realistically textured and come with a HUD that makes them easy to fit.

Here's how to fit your ISPACHI mesh feet: As known from similar products you first check which foot size you want to wear. With this product you have an amazing selection of 4 length and 4 breadth (fat) sizes. Wear the foot alpha and try them on. Once you decide on a pair, take the feet off again. Pick from the 8 ankle blender tattoo layers the one which fits your skin closest. Since any tint makes it darker, wear one which is a bit lighter than your skin if you can't get a perfect fit right away. Then right click on your avatar ...

• select appearance, edit outfit, choose the ankle blender tattoo layer,
• click on the colour/tint square, adjust the colour of the ankle blender to the colour of your skin by picking the right tint from the big colour palette [Hint: with a human skin you'll find the right tint somewhere on the (lower) left side] and
• write down the numbers shown on the left for Red, Green,Blue (RGB). Click ok and close the two windows. (*)
• Wear the HUD which comes with the package. Let it load!
• Wear your mesh feet and select the skin tab. Click the skin preset corresponding to your ankle blender tattoo (count from left to right 1- 8, pick the same number as on the ankle blender tattoo layer to apply the same basic tone).
• Click on the RGB button and a small window will open. You now have 30 seconds to type into it the RGB values you noted down earlier, separated by a comma (no spacing).
• Click submit and you will see the tint you selected for your mesh feet appear on the HUD in a square left of the RGB button. Click that square to apply the tint to your mesh feet which will then turn the same colour as your ankle blender tattoo layer.
• Click on one of the save colour squares to save your tint selection.
• Click on the nails tab to select a toe nail colour/tinting. Choose one of the presets and take it from there.
• Click on the tattoo tab if you want to add a tattoo to the upper side of one or both of your feet. There are 6 designs available which can also be mixed.

(*) Alternatively you could also identify the RGB values of your skin by using the “Show Colour Under Cursor” function in the Develop menu. From my experience this will drive you nuts since any point you target on your skin will most likely produce a somewhat different set of numbers and the result on the whole will often be unsatisfactory.

Work-Life-Balance

Maybe unlikely to wear boots around the house but I just moved to a new skybox and this footwear was the first pair I grabbed unpacking, lol. Anyway, they are from Death row designs and I have been meaning to show them to you for a while, just like the couch set with little table (land impact 12 + 6 prims) from [kusshon] that you can get @ The Men's Dept. for a few more days. It comes with an amazing amount of sit animations, props and the couch frame is colour changeable.

A release I am very excited about is my new skin from NIVARO called Adam. It comes in 8 skin tones, I'm showing you the version called summertone with chest hair. Each skin tone pack includes a version with chest hair, one with trail hair and a no-hair version. They each come with and without a hairbase =  6 skin versions per skin tone pack.

I also wear very nice new mesh hair from { Quandary }. Each of their 4 color sets offers a choice of 6 hair tones via HUD. 

Last but not least, Apple May Designs has released cool Cargo Capri's which come with a belt and Vestigium offers this new tattoo and cuffs. Check them out!
